beautiful true words, thank you… I speak to myself all the time when I see what others are eating and yes I too used to eat meat, eggs and drink milk but no more. I know that I am not a hypocrite to the animals I love them too much to harm them all the way down to what I wear and the entertainment i choose. Keep up the fight, there are others out there.

How absolutely awful — and with regard to the last paragraph, how true… and it is this blissful (and sometimes willful) ignorance of the realities of factory farming that big agribusiness is relying on to keep things status quo.

The more I learn about the agriculture industry, the more I’m sickened by it. My God… what are we coming to when we would do that to tiny, innocent creatures? Common houseflies have it much better….

I am only 11 but I have always wanted to save animals. I was about 5 when I caught my first lizard but I always let them go afterwards. I wan’t to help but I don’t know how because we have no ponds in our backyard. But every spare time I have I go on the computer and research.

i tried to make organic marshmallows w/o gelatin. bought organic corn syrup
but they came out like rock candy. have a recipe for organic vegetarian marshmallows?

Precisely. Once upon a time (and way too often still) civil rights activists and activists on behalf of equality for women were treated as if they were “scary” nightmares…yet they were and are saviors…saviors of the best of our strivings and of fairness. Maybe it is the call to be just, equitable, fair that is so frightening to so many.

The fight worth fighting.
