Things you can do to end the trade in cat
and dog fur in China
DEMONSTRATIONS:
Periodically at Chinese consulates, department stores,
Chinatowns and other venues of relevance.
MEDIA:
On an on-going basis, contact newspaper/magazine columnists
and editors, radio and television talk show producers with
leaflets, DVDs of fur farm footage, etc. asking them to
do segments on the issue.
OLYMPICS:
On an on-going basis, write to the Olympic sponsors asking
them to withdraw their support of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Send
them leaflets, DVDs of fur farm footage, etc.
BOYCOTTS:
On an on-going basis, ask the public to boycott the 2008
Beijing Olympics and to not purchase products Made in China.
GOVERNMENT
OFFICIALS: On an on-going
basis, request government officials in each country to
bring about legislation banning the importation of ALL
fur products from China.

FASHION
DESIGNERS: On an on-going
basis, contact fashion designers who use fur with appropriate
literature and DVDs of fur farm footage letting them know
that as long as they use fur they are a part of the cruelty.
CELEBRITIES:
On an on-going basis, contact famous people with appropriate
literature and DVDs of fur farm footage requesting their
support in expanding the exposure of this issue.
MISCELLANEOUS:
On an on-going basis, be creative, think out-of-the-box,
larger than life, commensurate with the level of cruelty
going on in China with ALL ANIMALS.
